Provider Finder

Rebuilt as a Single Page Application, Mission Health's Provider Finder uses JSON files instead of a traditional database, optimizing performance. Provider Finder features a smart search bar that filters through doctors, practices, medical conditions and specialties with every keystroke. For queries that fall outside suggested searches, the application offers full-text search to serve results from pre-built indexes. Third party integration with Healthwise's APIs links conditions to specialties, allowing patients to better discover specialty providers. Provider Finder offers online booking, a first for Mission Health, thanks to integration with Mission's own proprietary APIs.
